There is a glitch in Modern Warfare 2 the Akimbo 1887s (the game’s supereffective shotguns), plugged a hole that allowed for hacking player prestige and fixed issues with public “private” matches.

The issue occur during Modern Warfare 2 game-play on PlayStation and Xbox 360.
